What is the difference between a virtual and physical card?

Virtual and physical prepaid cards are very similar, however there are a couple of key differences to be aware of.  is that there is no plastic or PIN with a virtual card. This means virtual prepaid cards can only be used for 'card-not-present' transactions, i.e. online or over the phone, and not for transactions in physical locations.
