Why do I need to enter a passcode every time I log in?
This extra step is for your security. It’s called two-factor authentication (2FA), which helps confirm it’s really you accessing your account. 2FA uses two pieces of information:
- Something you know – your password
- Something you have – the one-time passcode (OTP) we send to your phone
Because your card is a regulated e-money product, we must comply with legislation such as the Second Payment Services Directive (PSD2), which requires this added layer of protection.
We understand it can feel inconvenient, but keeping your account and money secure is our top priority. We’re always working on ways to make access faster and simpler—without compromising security.
