What’s the difference between a virtual and a physical card?

Both virtual and physical prepaid cards work in similar ways, but there are a few key differences:

• Virtual Card:
  • No plastic card or PIN is issued.
  • Can only be used to make online purchases or payments over the phone.
• Physical Card:
  • Comes as a plastic card with a PIN.
  • Can be used for both online and in-store transactions wherever the card is accepted.
